At first they made boots,car tires,generated electricity and manufactured TV's too...

By changing with the times the mobile era of Nokia begun in 1979,in 1984 Nokia launched the mobile talkman portable car phone...it was their start.In 1982,Nokia introduced the first car phone-the Mobile Senator and in the same year the company's first digital telephone,the Nokia DX200 was initialized.In 

1992 Nokia launched its first digital handheld GSM phone,in 1994 Nokia launched the 2100 series,the first phone to feature the Nokia Tune ringtone,in the same year world's first satellite call is made using a Nokia GSM handset.In 1999 Nokia launched the multitasking mobiles like Nokia 7110,7650 and Nokia 3650.

In 2002 Nokia launched its first 3G phone.In 2011,Nokia announces that it is joining with Microsoft to power up its position in the smartphone market.

Nokia launched its first windows phones,the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia lumia 710 in 2011.In the Lumia series Lumia 520 and the Lumia 920 are the biggest hits.Lumia 1020 is another marvellous piece which enables photography never seen before in a smartphone...

Now the Nokia begins their next level,they launched three Android based smartphones the Nokia X,X+and XL.Nokia took the advantage of the AOSP(Android Open Source Project)which is equivalent to Android 4.1&built their own skin on top of it.Nokia delinked all the Google services from the OS and replaced them with Microsoft's search,email,Nokia's Here maps and Nokia App Store.Already Nokia X is successfully launched and the people are now eagerly waiting for the launch of NOkia X+ and the Nokia XL smartphones...
